This week’s newsletter includes a few articles from our February print issue in addition to a couple of recent news briefs. There is the magazine outlook for heatset printers at a time when advertising is under pressure and a story on Rajhans Enterprises in Bangalore, one of the largest commercial and heatset magazine printers in India. Cosmo Films has acquired the GBC Commercial Print Finishing business of US-based ACCO Brands Corporation and EFI has announced the availability of QS Series 2 Ink.

Many events are coming up for the publishing, printing, and packaging industry that Indian Printer and Publisher and Packaging South Asia plan to cover. We will next be at the re-scheduled Fespa Digital show in Mumbai from 28 February to 2 March 2009. The other important event coming up is at Fiera Milano in Italy in March 2009, which combines IPACK-IMA, Grafitalia and Converflex. We have a small preview by Ron Augustin of this show in this newsletter.
