Liven up your life with Indian Printer and Publisher ENL No.122
Jun 23, 2009

Hello

In this newsletter, we continue our coverage of companies either touched or untouched by the West’s economic slump. We’re also bringing you the latest developments in the printing and publishing industries both in India and abroad.

May we remind you again of two upcoming events that should help bring our industry up to speed in terms of education, career opportunities and standards:

1) ippStar’s Monsoon Summit on the ISO 12647 standard for the serious commercial printers with sheetfed and heatset web offset machines as well as their prepress departments will be held in Delhi on 14 July, in Mumbai 16 July, and in Chennai on 18 July. The first registrations from commercial printers have already come in. We expect senior quality management and standardisation personnel from all the leading sheetfed and heatset web printers and prepress houses to attend. The event is sponsored by Canon and is being supported by the Delhi Printers’ Association, Delhi Printer Welfare Association, Bombay Master Printers Association, Mumbai Mudrak Sangh, Madras Printers and Lithographers Association, and the Indian Print Exporters Forum.

2) The discussion on career opportunities and HR developments in the packaging industry at the PackPlus exhibition in New Delhi from 8 to 11 July. The idea is to provide the packaging industry with a joint human resource platform to project itself as a large and fast growing high technology area with opportunities for the best young people. Look for the large IppStar Careers stand in Hall 11 Stand 49, and Packaging South Asia and Indian Printer and Publisher at H all13 Stand 77.

Don’t miss these opportunities to get involved and learn how to meet the evolving requirements of our industry!

We also continue to ask for more support for our magazines, websites and email newsletters. For banner a ds on our websites and in our email newsletters, please contact at ads@ippgroup.in and
