Hello
The big story this morning is the postponement of the Asia Print & Pack Expo in Bangalore, which was scheduled for the end of August. The organisers are apparently facing losses due to fewer exhibitors and some of the big players backing off. We are pleased that some of the exhibitors are finally waking up to the real costs and benefits of randomly organised exhibitions.
Catch up on the launch stories of two newspapers – Pudhari and the national edition of Dainik Jagran. Other stories discuss the Heidelberg manroland merger speculation, digital press installs, and information on diverse types of training. The Heidelberg PMA in Chennai is organising courses across the country apart from those at its own facility. For publishers, an important certificate course on intellectual property is commencing from 8 August 2009 in Mumbai. We are positive that the newslett
er this week again will interest both printers and publishers alike.
