We are off to Chennai for the WAN-IFRA Conference and Expo from 23 to 25 September 2009. Indian Printer and Publisher will be publishing the official WAN-IFRA Gazette at the show on 24 and 25 September 2009. We also hope to try and blog from the expo floor.

Among the stories in the newsletter are Urvashi Butalia’s appreciation of Samuel Israel, the great editor and teacher of publishing who died last week. The entire industry has great sympathy and respect for his family.
