This week’s edition of IPP Online brings you an update on the WAN-IFRA Congress that will take place from November 30 to December 3 in Hyderabad. Already more than 550 publishers, owners, managers, editors and media thinkers from 85 countries are registered for the event. It is likely that the participant figures will reach an estimated 800 by the time of the event. For South Asia it is an unprecedented gathering for discussion of content and business issues with the many of the interesting editors and publishers from around the world taking part. The list of participants from Africa, Latin America and Asia includes many of the leading lights and outspoken editors from these regions.

Last week, Ian Ramsden’s article on The Future of Print in India received the maximum number of clicks. Ramsden will of course be one of the main presenters and moderators at the IPPXII C onference in Mumbai on 19 December 2009.
