Updates with IPP online ENL No.179
Jul 26, 2010

Hello

IppStar’s latest research project of the entire Indian print industry has begun. An articles from our July issue discusses some of the shareable aspects of this work – the up-trend in computer to plate installs. Simon Eccles reviews the new Pantone Plus that was shown at Ipex. A recent blog on commercial printers and digital quotes Amit Tara, “The decision to go in for a digital solution is not one of choice — it is more of a compulsion.” Other stories in the newsletter include Taco Vision’s lenticular and speciality printing unit in Kandivili, Magazine design in Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi, and the new South African daily The New Age planned in partnership with the Bennett Coleman group, the publishers of the Times of India.
