ACK Media bought India Book House in mid-May. ACK Media’s CEO Samir Patil spoke to us of the company’s plan to modernise book and magazine distribution in India along the lines of the FMCG manufacturers. A practical technology for performance based advertising called AdoRoi has been launched for both online and offline media. Germany-based company Nela has announced a joint venture with Proteck, based in Chennai. Nela will sell and service Proteck CtP processors and plate ovens in the North and South American print markets. In addition, Proteck is manufacturing Nela-designed plate punch and bending systems.
