Cosmo Films launch new scuff-resistant Matte Thermal Lamination Film
January 14, 2008

Cosmo Films, one of India’s leading biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film manufacturer, demonstrated its new scuff resistant matte thermal lamination film. It is a 30micron thick BOPP film coated for thermal lamination. It has excellent resistance to scuffing and scratching during handling and gives a true matte effect as it has no gloss or lustre. This gives it a totally “neutral” or natural finish without the slight shininess that conventional matte films tend to have. Also on display at their stand was a thermal laminator that can run their full range of COSMOTHERM thermal lamination films.

Cosmo Films manufactures a wide variety of thermal lamination films based on BOPP, biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate (BOPET) and nylon film substrates. The optical qualities range from clear and glossy films to matte films, white opaque films, metallised films and silky finishes. The thicknesses available range from 18 microns to 45 microns for BOPP, 22 microns to 75 microns for BOPET and 22 microns to 30 microns for nylon. All films are extrusion coated with a low melting adhesive for lamination to other substrates, mainly paper for sizes ranging from narrow widths to wide formats.

Seems to me this is nothing more than the pot giving an interview about the kettle.
