HP launches HP Designjet Z6100 printer series, Indigo press 3500, 5500

It features HP Double Swath technology, guaranteeing double the performance in any print mode with its wider path and higher firing frequency. Uniting these printers with HP’s patented Vivera Pigment Inks produces high-quality photos, graphics and text with clear, accurate, lasting colour HP Indigo press 3500 Providing offset ‘look and feel’, adjustment-free paper handling, advanced colour management with 4 and 6 colour Pantone emulations. Designed for commercial and in-plant printing firms, HP Indigo Press 3500 offers solution for those adopting digital technology for the first time, as well as users moving up from light-production colour copier devices. HP Indigo press 5500 Designed for high volume production environments with applications such as marketing collaterals, direct mail, photo specialty products, books and manuals. It has a host of new features, such as a higher duty cycle of 1.5M+ (or 5M+ monochrome) pages per month; fast ink replacement on the optional 5th, 6th and 7th stations with virtually no downtime and photo realistic printing using CMYK + Light Cyan Light Magenta inks. These features gives more flexibility and productivity in a typical commercial printing environment. The HP Indigo press 5500 the natural choice for print service providers looking to profitably expand their digital print offering. HP also offers web-to-print applications with alliances to support the industry’s demands. For instance, web-to-print applications from Press-sense streamline and automate the entire printing process from ordering, prepress, print production to delivery. For business looking to expand into photo specialty products, HP also offers photobook solutions from Silverwire.
