Santa Clara, California, USA, April 15, 2008 – Fujifilm Corporation has announced that the Board of Fujifilm Dimatix voted to appoint Martin Schoeppler CEO and President, , replacing John C. Batterton who is retiring. The top-management change at the wholly owned Fujifilm subsidiary becomes effective May 15, 2008. Batterton will remain in his post at Fujifilm Dimatix over the next month to assist with the leadership transition.
Schoeppler joined Fujifilm Dimatix in 2004 as Vice President of Strategic Business Development. In January 2007, Schoeppler was named the company’s Vice President of Marketing and Sales with responsibility for all Fujifilm Dimatix products.
Prior to his tenure at Fujifilm Dimatix, Schoeppler held senior management positions in United States and Europe at Hewlett-Packard Co., Lumileds Lighting, and Agilent Technologies, Inc., Schoeppler earned a BSEE degree in Electronics and Telecommunications with a minor in Business from the University of Applied Science in Esslingen, Germany, and studied Advanced Industrial Marketing at INSEAD in France. |
