Xerox Global Services

At a function held in New Delhi on 16 April, Xerox India launched its new Enterprise Document Solution suite through its Xerox Global Services (XGS) division XGS has more than 70 customers in India including the Karnataka High Court, Axis Bank, Citibank, and Sun Microsystems.

Announcing the launch, Ravi Venkatraman, Director of the division said, “The EDS is aimed towards organizations who wish to accelerate, streamline and automate critical business processes. The solution would serve as a critical link between information, documents, people and processes. The EDS is targeted at key verticals such as education, healthcare, manufacturing, mortgage services and more.”

“The solution will act as a single window interface to eliminate the need to manage various cost centers across the enterprise,” Ravi added.

The EDS suite includes all components of a document workflow in an enterprise, such as account payables, account receivables, e-print sourcing, mail room management, HR record management, business transaction, office productivity, document, workflow management and electronic content management amongst others.

“With the launch of EDS suite, enterprises will have several benefits like better control, negotiation of technology and price and above all standardization and process optimization. Our offering is flexible, scaleable to the fast changing technology and incorporates statutory, environmental and security concerns such as enabling data through authorization, encrypted hard drives or even data transfer through email and password protected PDF files.”

At present there are more than 70 customers in India who access the services provides by XGS, which includes prominent names like Karnataka High Court, Axis Bank, Citibank, Sun Microsystems.
