Position overview:
Packaging Standards EskoArtwork is looking for Senior Design Engineer for Packaging Standards team under Global Resource Center (GRC) located in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible for guiding design engineers to develop folding carton and corrugated packaging standards (parametric designs) to industry standards.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Manage technical aspects and guide team members on implementation
- Analyzing requirement specification and carry out feasibility analysis
- Guiding design engineers on industry requirements and packaging logic
- Testing developed standards and assuring international standard quality
- Interact with design engineers and provide solutions on critical issues
Qualifications and experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Printing/Packaging Technology
- Strong knowledge of Folding Carton and Corrugated packaging structures
- Allowances for different packaging based on size/thickness of box/material
- Common practices followed in industry for packaging designs
Skills required:
- Experience level of 10+ years
- Good analytical skills and self initiative to learn new technologies
- Good computer knowledge
- Knowledge of Packaging CAD software is a plus
- Graphics arts knowledge for Printing industry is a plus
- Ability to work as part of a global team with good communication skills (written and spoken English)
