AB Color Silvassa

Slits and packs Kodak materials for KPG

Kodak recording films and paper rolls are made available in India in almost every possible width because the company has been adding value to jumbo rolls that it imports at a plant in Silvassa known as AB Color. Silvassa and Daman are coastal union territories just 200 kilometres north of Mumbai and many of the industries in the area enjoy tax benefits associated with development of the area that also includes the railway town of Vapi in Gujarat. The slitting, cutting and packing facility was started by Kodak in 1995 and with the advent of Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) in 1999, graphic arts materials have been marketed by KPG who are actively involved in the conversion project. ...cont´d
