ATE now selling EFI’s Digital StoreFront

ATE India which is now selling EFI’s digital workflow software products has been putting together seminars across the country to create awareness of these solutions for streamlining the production workflow and linking the workflow to admin and management systems. We attended one such recent seminar that was addressed by Amit Verma of ATE and Sambit Misra of EFI who explained some of the software modules especially those at the entry level. Sambit also told us that Dalven in Hyderabad, a short run digital printer, has already gone in for an EFI digital storefront solution. Some of the printers that we talked to at the event are seriously looking at the software simply to cut down on the goof-ups that seem to keep happening in their prepress workflow with jobs that are sent to them over the Internet. ...cont´d
