Advanced mailroom equipment for new Hindu plant in Chennai

Kasturin and Sons, publishers of The Hindu and Business Line dailies and magazines such as Sportstar and Frontline, are building a brand new printing plant in Chennai away from the headquarters on Mount Road. Two new Mitsubishi web presses, each with a double-fold delivery, are being installed at the new facility. Printed newspapers and other products will be picked-up by the NewsGrip-A transporters from Muller Martini and conveyed to the mailroom. The pick-up stations of the new lines are equipped with 2:1 acceptor technology.
