Amar Ujala consolidates operations in Punjab

Hindi broadsheet daily Amar Ujala has consolidated its numerous Punjab editions editorial operations to Jalandhar. All the eight editions are consolidated and now only the Jalandhar edition will be distributed. Called the Punjab edition, it will include the formerly separate editions for Bhatinda, Firozpur, Patiala, Hoshiarpur-Roopnagar, Gurudaspur-Pathankot, Amirtsar, Ludhiana and Jalandhar and be printed from Panchkula. Panchkula is adjacent to Chandigarh in the state of Haryana.
