Formerly known as CIE (Central Institute of English), The EFL University (The English and Foreign Languages University) was established in 1958, in Hyderabad. The institution has its own publication unit which started in 1977 for publishing text books, catalogues and other academic materials. With the aid from Government of Germany, the University has procured finishing and photography equipment.
