CON — standard printing profile launched

Indian newspapers collectively address advertisers

Ifra and Ifra India in association with some of its leading members has launched a standard printing profile called ICONS — Indian Coldset Offset Newspaper Standardisation, for Indian newspapers. ICONS will come into effect from November 1, 2005 when it will be implemented in daily newspaper production. Ifra, together with nine newspapers - ABP, Deccan Herald, Hindustan Times, Lokmat, Malayala Manorama, Mathrubhumi, Mid Day, The Hindu and The Times of India, has evolved a common printing standard for reproduction and printing process across these newspapers. ...cont´d
