This was expected to be a high growth year for CtP in India. Last year CtP installations were more than three times the previous year and we are expecting new installations to double this year. This would mean more than 60 CtP and maybe as many as 70 devices should be installed by 31 March 2005. The year got a head start with some newspaper orders from last year being installed in April. The major development last year was that of newspapers finally taking the plunge, either by acquiring their first CtP or a pair, or having moved to the next stage, buying three, four, or even seven at a time for both redundancy and multiple locations. ...cont´d
