Last year at IppStar's October open house in Noida, Chitaranjan Dar of ITC Bhadrachalam (since renamed as ITC Paperboards and Speciality Papers Division) spoke not only about paperboard demand and quality issues with local printers and converters, but also of ITC P&SPD's investments in biotechnology, tree cloning and plantation. The company's idea is to reforest enough acreage to cover its raw material consumption in paperboard manufacture.
