On 21 May 2009 we met Sandeep Mehrotra Adobe’s Director of Sales at Adobe’s Noida campus near our office. Mehrotra’s view of the Indian market was that people in India are continuously upgrading but at a cautious pace. According to him, publishers have started to venture into eLearning, for which Adobe launched its E-Learning Suite in January 2009. Adobe has been talking to a few leading universities in India to help in the development of eLearning suites for their web-based distance education programs.
