Deccan Chronicle Q3 net profit up by 97 per cent

Deccan Chronicle Holdings, the Hyderabad based publishers of the Deccan Chronicle English daily and the Telugu Andhra Bhoomi daily, announced a growth of 44.3 per cent in net sales and 97.1 per cent in net profit for the (October, November, December), third quarter of the current financial year. These are the first set of results announced after the company’s initial public offering of just over 8 million shares was over subscribed 9.3 times.
