Deccan Chronicle to go public — orders Goss Uniliner S

On 10 September 2004, The Business Standard carried a front page story about the Hyderabad based Deccan Chronicle group of newspapers raising money from the stock market before Diwali (which falls on November 12 this year). Deccan Chronicle has confirmed this story. In addition, Deccan Chronicle confirms the purchase of a Goss Uniliner S to be installed at an as yet unspecified location. The Uniliner S is a 75,000 copies an hour 4 x 1 press (4 broadsheet pages across by one page around). ...cont´d
