Delhi High Court grants permanent injunctions in favour of McGraw-Hill Education (India) in two copyright infringement cases

The Delhi High Court recently granted a permanent injunction in favour of The McGraw-Hill Companies Inc, and McGraw-Hill Education (India) Pvt. Ltd., restraining a Pune-based publisher and its authors from reproducing content from a McGraw-Hill publication. Content from McGraw-Hill’s ‘Advanced Concepts in Operating Systems-Distributed, Database and Multi Processor Operating Systems’ by Mukesh Singhal and Niranjan G Shivaratri had been illegally incorporated into another publication titled, ‘Distributed Systems.’
