Divya Bhaskar gets Group Edito

Aakar Patel, The Group Editor-in-Chief of Mid-day in Mumbai, has quit the Group after working with it for six years and has joined Divya Bhaskar, again as Editor-in-Chief. Patel, 35, said: “I am moving because of the bigger scale that the new job affords me. The Bhaskar group has more than 22 million readers. That scale in print is currently not available in English.” The group publishes Dainik Bhaskar in Hindi, the No. 2 in the market, Divya Bhaskar in Gujarati, as well as DNA in English in a joint venture.
