I first met Amit Tara one morning in 1995 in Dusseldorf when he was walking with his father Surinder Tara towards the drupa entrance. Amit was still a student at the London College of Printing as it was then known and the two tall, quiet and well spoken men were always a team. I have rarely met one without the other at various industry parties or get-togethers. And in the last few meetings, the father always let Amit do most of the talking.
