The next big exhibition is the Printpack09 event in Delhi organised by IPAMA, which is the association of Indian print equipment and consumable manufacturers. Normally this exhibition is quite successful when it is held at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. However the last one was held in Hyderabad in 2006 and it was quite a disaster. It is not just that IPAMA and the AIFMP (the printers association) cannot get along or work together meaningfully to have a common, professional, and authoritative event. Within these organisations the politics seem to be of a fairly stagnant and low order as well.
