Newspapers in Asia-Pacific poised to grow

In his keynote address at the Wan-Ifra conference in Pune, Pichai Chuensuksawadi, editor-in-chief, Bangkok Post, Thailand, urged the newspaper industry not only to coexist but to embrace social media and other media platforms. “In order to grow, news publishers should be willing to take advantage of the growth of other media and equip their organizations with necessary knowledge, infrastructure and manpower.” ...cont´d
