The 17th edition of the All India Photographic Trade and Industry Association (AIPTIA) was recently held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon from 5 to 8 January 2012. This year’s fair was titled Consumer Electronic Imaging Fair and Photofair 2012. It saw the participation of many exhibitors in the area of electronic imaging and photography making it the world’s third largest photo fair exhibition, according to the organizers. The 4-day event was held in a area of 20,000 square metres in Hall 1, and included programmes like workshops, seminars, photo gallery and photography contests.
