In mid-December we spoke by telephone to Frazer Chesterman of Fespa when the Fespa Digital exhibition that was supposed to take place in December in Mumbai was postponed to the end of February and the first two days of March. The postponement was caused by the terror strike in Mumbai on the night of 26 November that went on till the morning of 29 November. Simultaneously, the Fespa World Expo Asia Pacific exhibition in Bangkok (from 28 to 30 November) suffered from the siege of Bangkok’s international airport by protesters. Chesterman said at the time, that Fespa Digital was hoping to book a few more exhibitors who couldn’t be accommodated earlier.

The platinum partner for the exhibition is HP. With about a month and a half to go for the exhibition 59 exhibitors are shown on the Fespa website. Ten of the twenty international exhibitors listed are Chinese companies and another four are from Germany. Other exhibitors listed include Agfa Graphics, Apsom Infotex, EFI Vutek, Epson, Esko Artwork, Gandi Innovations and Repro Graphics India.
