Thanks to the growing number of readers, we can hope for more direct translation between Indian languages. Har kos pe bhasha badale, char kos pe pani — the famous saying illustrates the diversity of India. The diversity is reflected linguistically, with 22 officially recognised languages. Besides, there are many languages not recognised by the constitution and, of course, countless dialects. Translation is one of the ways which brings people together across language and cultural barriers.
