Google book settlement overturned
Judge Chin cites objection by Indian authors and publisher among others

On 22 March 2011, New York federal judge Denny Chin overturned the November 2008 agreement between Google and several groups representing authors and publishers. The judge ruled that the scope of the settlement was too broad. Judge Chin has also scheduled a status conference for 25 April 2011. ...cont´d
