Sakata Inx India inaugurated its Panoli, Gujarat facility on 27 August. The IPP Mumbai team attended the inauguration of the plant by Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi. The Panoli plant is built over an area of 20 acres with an investment of Rs 50 crores in its first phase and will produce printing inks for the flexible packaging and printing industry. The total planned investment is Rs 100 crores, which will be spent over the next 12 months. H Takamaru, President of Sakata Inx expressed his happiness and satisfaction at the inaugural of Sakata’s second manufacturing unit in India. Speaking at the ceremony, he said, “The commencement of operations at Panoli is a historic moment for all of us and this facility will play a significant role in fulfilling the ever-growing needs of our customers with our vast variety of ink products. By next year as part of phase - II, we plan to add some more products with similar investments.” Sakata Inx India is targetting 50% of its sales to come from exports from the Panoli plant. Sakata Inx Corporation, Japan is ensuring that the latest up to date technologically advanced products are manufactured at the new facility at Panoli. ...cont´d
