Heidelberg CD 102 5-colour installed at New Model Impex

The Drupa year bore fruit for the fast advancing quality printers of Delhi. They bought big. 5-colour machines, from Roland and Heidelberg, in the large 28 x 40 format. We met one of these buyers, Arvind Aggarwal, for the first time on the train from Dusseldorf to Heidelberg in May 2000. We had heard that he was looking at a new press and we asked him about it; but he was discreet, and denied any acquisition activity.
