IPAMA’s new Governing Council

IPAMA’s elections for the 2010-2012 were announced by the returning officer VK Ahuja on 11 December 2009. He invited nominations from all regular members to elect a Governing Council of 18 members. After the secret ballot papers were scrutinized on 6 February 2010, the results were declared, and announced at the governing council meeting at the Lalit hotel in Delhi on 23 February. The Governing Council unanimously elected NS Manku as the President for the term 2010-2012. Manku nominated Satish Bajwa as General Secretary and TR Mahajan as Treasurer and both were unanimously appointed by those present. We have some indication that the new team is committed to a long term effort to establish international quality platforms that unite the entire industry. We await their actions in this regard where thus far the industry has not really shown any leadership that can unite the various manufacturing and printing associations. ...cont´d
