India Label Show in New Delhi from 3 to 6 December 2008

The first India Label Show 2008 under management of the Tarsus group will take place from 3 to 6 December 2009. The India Label Show conference which is sponsored by HP, will take place in theatre in Hall 11 at Pragati Maidan, on 3, 4, and 5 December from 2pm to 5pm. Each afternoon will consist of two sessions of one hour each with an hour interval between the sessions. The cost of participation including taxes is Rs. 500 per session.

There are many strong Indian speakers at the conference particularly from the buyer side and from some of the large consumer product companies. Highlights include sessions such as, “What the label buyers really want from their converter” -- a high profile panel consisting of senior executives from Colgate, Unilever and Moser Baer India. This session is being billed as a unique intel on how large multi national groups recruit and work with their label suppliers.
“Labels today and tomorrow” is a top experts panel where new technologies that make a real difference in a competitive market will be discussed with speakers such as K. Roy, Senior Research Scientist Packaging Development for Ranbaxy, Nagesh Sagar, Managing Director of leading design company Maxicare, printer Gautham Kothari, Managing Director of succesfull Interlabel and international technology manufacturers: HP Indigo, Gallus and Nilpeter. Not to be missed under any circumstances!
Mike Fairley, the label industry expert will give an opening speech on the Indian market based on extensive research and surveys in the first session on the afternoon of 3 December. This management session will give you the key to the market evolution and how to position your business in a changing economic climate. Other sessions include: brand protection, the digital printing revolution and cases studies on the market challenges.

3 December 1400 to 1500 – The changing world of labels: how to make your business more profitable and marketable – this is a management information session. 1600 to 1700, Speaking the same language: the keys to a successful print buyer / converter partnership. In this session a panel of local and international label buyers will share their expectations and experiences with label printers.
4 December – 1400 to 1500 -- Protecting your brand: the latest strategies put into perspective – In this session what brand owners really need and want and a discussion of anti-counterfeiting strategy, technologies and cost issues.; 1600 to 1700 -- Taking the mystique out of digital printing. This session moderated by Andy Thomas looks at how converters are successfully combining conventional and digital printing in their factories. The session will address some of the return on investment issues of digital presses. Two case studies will be presented, one by a local and another by an international label converter. 5 December -- 1400 to 1500 -- Facing market challenges and consolidating your business -- a panel of senior Indian executives answers your questions on how to face the current economic situation.
1600 to 1700 -- Labels today and tomorrow, opportunities for the future – An update on the latest label technologies. The panel consisting of leading label buyers and press manufacturers will discuss innovation, cost and technology issues.
