Guest country India’s babus put on usual lacklustre show

The Salone Internazionale del Libro Torino takes place at the Lingotto Fiere in Turin for five days every year in May. It is the most important book fair in Italy and the Mediterranean region, and, with 1,400 exhibitors and 315,000 visitors, the largest European fair after Frankfurt. As the business area of the Salone, the International Book Forum brings together more than 800 professionals to discuss book, film and broadcasting rights. It supports business networks among international publishers, literary agents, producers and new media companies with an extensive program of meetings, book pitches and special events where publishers can buy and exchange copyrights and develop literary projects for screen adaptations. ...cont´d
