International translation conference in Delhi -- 16 to 19 December 2010

Role of Translation in Nation Building, Nationalism and Supra-nationalism

Mrinal Kanti Das, Senior Police Officer from the Indian Police Services will be the special guest and keynote speaker at the translation event starting this week in Delhi. More than 150 speakers representing 60 universities from 25 countries will discuss translation, interpretation and other linguistic activities that play an important role in the socio-economic and cultural growth of a country.
