Service staff to double in the next four months

On a pleasant and sunny December day we catch up with Anil Bhatia, the recently appointed managing director of manroland India at the company’s office in New Delhi. manroland is looking forward to a good 2011 as the company is quite optimistic on the demand in this market. “We will have the biggest year in the history of manroland’s India operations. Next year we will install the maximum number of presses that we have ever installed in a year in India,” says Bhatia a mechanical engineer, who was earlier involved in the construction equipment manufacturing industry. Bhatia speaks not just of the newspaper web offset market where the company has traditionally been the leader in supplying high-speed 4 x 2 and 4 x 1 presses, but also of the sheetfed offset market where there is already a commitment for six presses in the coming year, with hopes to move even further. ...cont´d
