Jacob Mathew elected Indian Newspaper Society president

Jacob Mathew, The Executive Editor of Malayala Manorama in Kerala, South India, has been elected to a one-year term as President of the Indian Newspaper Society. Mathew, 53, succeeds Pradeep Guha of Times of India, who was represented Filmfare. Gulab Kothari of Rajasthan Patrika, Jaipur, has been elected deputy president, while I. Venkat (Sitara Film Weekly of Hyderabad) became vice-president and Mahendra Mohan Gupta honorary treasurer. ...cont´d
