KBA’s half-year figures

Return to full-time work at most plants

Following the release of preliminary figures on 20 July, which revealed a perceptible upswing in the printing industry and a year-on-year increase in new orders of almost 39 per cent, German press manufacturer KBA has now fleshed out the details of its half-yearly report. Compared to the same period last year, group sales were up 4.5 per cent at EUR 473.2 million and the pre-tax loss has been reduced from EUR 47.4 million to EUR 22 million, EUR 21.3 million of which originated in the first quarter, when sales were still weak.
