KBA buys Scitex out of 74 Karat joint venture

Scitex and KBA recast Karat joint ventureImaging technology and software to come from Israel

Herzlia, Israel and Radebeul, Germany, March 19 — KBA, one of the largest press manufacturers in the world, is taking charge of all development, marketing, production and service activities for the on-press digitally imaged 74 Karat. According to a statement issued by KBA and Scitex, the joint-venture agreement of 1 January, 1998 to create the 50:50 subsidiary Karat Digital Press BV in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), with associated companies Karat Digital Press GmbH in Radebeul (Germany) and Karat Digital Press LP in Herzlia (Israel), will be terminated. ...cont´d
