Klockner Pentaplast Group acquired by the Blackstone Group

Last week, we had reported the acquisition of Supreme Industries’ Malanpur plant by Klockner Pentaplast (KP), Germany. Onthe 3rd of May 2007, the KP Group announced that they themselves arebeing acquired by an affiliate of The Blackstone Group, one of theworld’s leading private equity firms. The purchase price is 1.3 billionEuros (US$ 1.8 billion) and the sale is subject to approval by variousregulatory authorities. ...cont´d
