Kodak’s workflow automation on display

Kodak which has over 300 installations of its work flow systems software in India displayed a wide range of solutions for print buyers and press operators at the Label expo 2012. These modular solutions for packaging, publishing and newspaper industry start from the basic models of Prinergy Evo priced competitively at $5000 and go onto the more sophisticated models of  Prinergy Connect that could be customized for as much as $300,000. Prashant Kamath and Arnab Maiti of Kodak informed IPP that Kodak’s  workflow solutions are popular because they are modular in nature and can meet the demands of customers requiring  semi –automatic solutions as well as fully automated solutions that can even be accessed from remote locations and are available on an add on basis. The workflow solutions cover the entire range of prepress and post press operations starting from editing to color management  and is becoming increasingly popular with those who have global customers.
