The TechNova Group and its associates have acquired the Mumbai based litho plate manufacturer Lastra Niraj with its manufacturing line in Nasik. Jyothi Sheth the main promoter of Lastra Niraj has completely divested his shareholding and stepped down as managing director and chairman. He plans to focus on business opportunities in other industries. Lastra, which was a joint venture partner in this plant, was acquired by Agfa several years ago. None of the financial details of the acquisition have been made public. TechNova has said that it will “endeavour to utilise the capacity available in the Lastra Niraj plant to manufacture positive presensitised plates for domestic and export markets.” ...cont´d
