Bennett Coleman and Co, publishers of the Times of India are known to make demanding evaluations of equipmentand suppliers and then generally stick with them. Continuing a long tradition of choosing QuadTech controls, the company has installed four QuadTech® Autotron™ Newspaper 2800 Register Guidance Systems at several Times of India press plants in the last three months.The installations bring the total number of Autotron Newspaper 2800 systems bought by Bennett Coleman and Co to 12, which have been installed at various MAN and Manugraph presses spread among plants across the country, including Bangalore, Calcutta, Pune, Lucknow, Delhi and Mumbai. TOI is currently in the process of a massive expansion of colour pages and higher speed print capacity that includes new MAN Colorman presses and fully automated Krause Laserstar 300 CtP lines. ...cont´d
