Malayala Manorama buys six Smartline presses

Manugraph, the India based multinational web offset press manufacturer has made a breakthrough sale of its newly designed 4 x 1 Smartline press. The sale is for six presslines to the Malayala Manorama group, publishers of the highest circulated Malayalam daily at 1.6 million copies, and numerous other periodicals. Malayala Manorama is generally an “early adopter” of new technology and has often been one of the first customers for Manugraph’s new press designs. The company was the first customer of Manugraph’s Coroset, its Uniset made under license from manroland, and Manugraph’s own-design 60,000 shaftless single circumference Frontline. ...cont´d
