Milestone digital photography course in Mumbai

Mohini Nakhwa’s Milestone Academy has been running training courses and workshops on photography since 1999. The academy promotes photo tourism and the current set of courses on serious digital photography and digital output and printing already have eight registrations. With media support from Maharashtra Times, Venus Infotech is providing the technical support for output techniques using a high quality digital printer. Venus Infotech is a solution provider for the graphic art industry in Mumbai and was set up by Hemanshu Desai in 2002.

The course comprises three levels. There is a choice between doing the course in the morning or the evening. The entire duration of the course for all three levels is about a month and half. The details along with dates are: 

Level 1-- Theory of digital photography; understanding the SLR camera; camera handling, proper use of features understanding lenses, general day light shooting, basic studio lighting and photo journalism. Theory 10 days on a daily basis for 2½ hours; 4 days mini outings (morning / evening); 2 days full-day outings (Sunday); 4 days 2½ hours basic studio settings; and, three projects. Dates -- 15 April to 5 May 2009 (20 days continuous). Course Fee Rs 6,500.

Level 2-- Function photography, portrait photography, advance studio lighting setup understanding advance lighting equipments and their equipments, commercial interaction with clients, makeup tips, commercial approach; 4 Days Theory 2½ Hours; 3 Days shooting in studio 3 Hours; 1 Day makeup demo and tips from Commercial makeup artist 2 ½ Hours; 2 Day six hours photo shoot with professional Male/Female Models 3 Projects . Dates 6 May to 16 May 2009 (11 days continuous). Course Fee Rs.6,500/-

Level 3-- Modern Digital Printing Techniques; 3 days digital printing training 2 ½ Hours;1 Day personality development 2 ½ Hours;1 Day understanding Quality 2 ½ Hours;3 Days Apprenticeship in Printing Workshop. Dates--20 - 25 May 2009. Course Fees Rs. 3,500/- 

Morning Batch: 7.30 am to 10.00 am

Evening Batch   : 6.00 pm to 8.30 pm
