Mitsubishi DIAMONDSPIRIT presses for Asahi Shimbun

Hiroshima, Japan, 10 February 2010. The Asahi Shimbun, Japan’s second largest newspaper publisher with a daily circulation of more than eight million copies, recently ordered three Mitsubishi DIAMONDSPIRIT newspaper offset presses. The three high-speed 4 x 1 presses rated at 80,000 cph are slated to replace existing 18-year-old equipment at The Asahi Shimbun’s Funabashi Plant, which handles production requirements for the eastern part of greater Tokyo metropolitan. This marks the fourth order of DIAMONDSPIRIT presses received in Japan since 2008, following orders previously placed by Nikkan Sports Printing, Shin-Nihonkai Shimbun and Sendai High Speed Offset. ...cont´d
