Mitsubishi establishes new printing and paper converting machinery company

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, (MHI) announced in end-June the start-up, effective 1 July 2010, of a fully owned subsidiary established to takeover the company’s printing and paper converting machinery operations. The new company – Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Printing & Packaging Machinery, (MHI-P&PM) – is head quartered in Hiroshima, Japan, capitalized at 10 billion yen (INR 531 crore), and begins operation with a workforce of around 1,000 employees.
